  11. Subject: Getting AVIs from 4.0 under Windows 95...

  16. and installed it on my W95 machine.  When I try to render out an AVI 
  17. file, it seems determined not to let me.  If I try to use the HIIP 
  18. 32-bit avi saver, it tells me that there was a call made to an NT .DLL 
  19. file that is not there.  When I try to use the 16 bit saver, it 
  20. renders, and when I finish, there's no .AVI file, just a file named 
  21. ERLOG.TXT in my C:\ directory, giving me some terse message like:

  24. fffe58d7:NO PREF STRING

  26. ..for as many frames as I have tried to render.  I am really getting 
  27. mad about this, because I NEED to be able to save out these files!  If 
  28. anyone has ANY idea whatsoever as to what my problem is here, please 
  29. tell me.  I do have the AVI driver installed, because I can play AVI 
  30. files just fine.  What am I doing wrong?  I tried to use the Newtek 
  31. saver, but it will tell me that it has been added to the database, then 
  32. not show up on the list.  I tried adding it manually to the LW.CFG 
  33. file, but I couldn't even SELECT it from the list without getting an 
  34. error message popping up in front of my face!  I would greatly 
  35. appreciate any help you've got to offer.  Thanks in advance!
